In connection with Housing4Rent’s rental and leasing services, we collect and process personal information on an ongoing basis.
Housing4Rent is the sole recipient and processor of personal information collected. To utilize our services, we must to collect some personal information; however, we only collect personal data in cases where it is relevant to your activity at Housing4Rent. When collecting, processing, and using your personal data, we comply with all relevant legal provisions.
We only collect the most necessary information, such as:

· CPR number
· Bank Details
· Passport and Driver’s License Information
· Family Relations
· Employment History
Data is only collected when utilizing the following services:
· Renting a home (either as a tenant or property owner)
· Drafting a lease
· Visiting our website
· Signing up for our newsletter
· Completing our forms
· Submitting a job application for employment at Housing4Rent
How we use your information:
We register and use your personal data solely for activities directly related to the rental of housing. We collect your standard contract information, (e.g. name, address, and email) in order to communicate and complete transactions. The information collected, in connection with the payment, is used and stored only for the completion of payments specified in rental contracts.
We regularly collect information about your name and address from publicly available databases solely for the purpose of being able to verify your identity (e.g. as the owner of a home or property). Information about you deemed necessary for the (communication of the lease) will be electronically registered and stored. This applies for all data collected, regardless of its origin.
We can also receive information from other parties who may have knowledge of your personal circumstances, such as a lawyer, administration company, or another similar representative. You can provide us this information personally over the phone or via email. You can elect for another party to provide information on your behalf over the phone or via email.
If you consented on our website, we will use your email address to send a newsletter. You can subscribe or unsubscribe at any time from the newsletter. All newsletters have a link to unsubscribe. If the processing of personal information is based on your consent, you have right to revoke your consent at any time.
In order to send requested newsletters, we disclose information such as name and email address to www.mailchimp.com.
Under no circumstances do we sell your personal information to third parties, nor do we transfer your personal information to third countries.
Both landlords and tenants must provide your personal information to respective tenants/landlords.
In order to utilize Housing4Rent’s services, one must provide personal information. This is a mandatory requirement for service.
How long do we keep your personal information?
Housing4Rent’s standard procedure is to store personal information for 5 years from the final termination of a lease and/or intermediation agreement. We periodically delete information after the final closure of an agreement.
Information provided in forms via the Housing4Rent website are kept until the request has been processed, and will take no longer than three weeks.
In some cases, you have the right object to the usage and storage of your personal information. If you wish to exercise these rights, please contact Housing4Rent. In the case of any discrepancy between the translation and the Danish original, the latter shall prevail.
